About Us
Krishlah Arabians is based in the Western Districts of Victoria and is located across two farms, in Smythes Creek and Blampied. Owned and operated by Sharon Warke and Olivia Cleary, we have been breeding Purebred Arabians for over 30 years. We have based our program on a strong mare base and were very fortunate to have purchased a number of Avondale-bred mares from Pam and the late Rob Morris. Walk through the broodmare paddocks and you will find a number of daughters and grand-daughters of these mares.
We have prided ourselves on being able to produce National Quality horses from relatively small foal numbers. We have bred a number of Australian and East Coast Champions, as well as a Scottsdale Champion in Gameelah KA. Vitorious KA is our resident stallion. We have a very strict gelding policy so 2017 saw the arrival for the first time of progeny by a home-bred stallion. Vitorious was sired by Vitorio TO (US) and out of Breathless.
Breathless is a daughter of Avondale Special who was one of the first mares we purchased from Avondale, we unfortunately lost Breathless in 2022, and are so fortune we have Vitorious to continue this linage as she only produced two fillies, her first two foals, which were both sold.
Breathless then went on to have 7 colts. Vitorious’ first foal crop has been very successful, and the cross with our Crave daughters and grand-daughters
has been quite successful. From his first foal crop, he has produced multiple supreme winners, East Coast Champions, & a Gold Australian Champion. We also have a filly that has been retained for breeding.
2022/23 foaling season saw a Wahaj Albidayer (US), colt foal born this foaling season, out of a Klass daughter, Klassical Fascination MI, that we purchased in 2021, with the aim to breed a complete outcross colt. We could not be happier with this cross and are eagerly awaiting to watch how he matures. Visitors are most welcome at either property by appointment.
